Terms of use
The rules for using zobol.ca and Zoé during the pilot phase.
Last updated: October 16, 2026Working draft, to be reviewed by legal counsel. Pilot participants will also sign a pilot-specific agreement. The French version is the reference version.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the zobol.ca website and the Zoé service from Zobol Technologies. By using the site or the service, you accept them.
2. A product in development
Zoé is in development. Features described on this site carry a status (tested prototype, in development, planned); only those expressly included in a pilot agreement are offered to you. Features, their availability and these terms may change.
3. Pilot phase
Access to the pilot is by invitation and by written agreement setting out the duration, terms and confidentiality. No payment is accepted on this site.
4. Your role as a professional
Zoé is an assistance tool. It does not replace your professional judgment and does not relieve you of any ethical or legal obligation. You check the information, drafts and proposed actions before confirming them. Zoé does not sign any document and does not fill any official form on your behalf.
5. Acceptable use
- Use Zoé only for your legitimate professional activity.
- Share only information you have the right to share.
- Do not try to bypass protections, access another user's data or disrupt the service.
- Keep your credentials confidential and tell us about any unauthorized use.
6. Data
Your data remains yours. How it is processed is described in the privacy policy.
7. Intellectual property
The site, the Zoé brand, the Zobol brand and the software belong to Zobol Technologies. You may not copy, modify or redistribute them without permission.
8. Liability
During development and the pilot, the service is provided as is, without any guarantee of availability or accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, Zobol Technologies is not liable for decisions made based on information provided by Zoé, nor for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access in case of use contrary to these terms or to protect the security of the service. You may stop using Zoé and request deletion of your data at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
